About Us
We are high school sweethearts who have been married for 10+ years. We were both born and raised in Florida. Right after high school, I joined the United States Air Force as a Communications and Navigation Systems Specialist working on C-130H aircraft. Cameron graduated high school about a year later, and we were married in Florida in 1996. After the wedding, we returned to Abilene, Texas where I was stationed. We stayed there until my enlistment of four years was completed.
In 1999, we returned back home to Florida. It was a struggle to return to civilian life to say the least. But after about year, we were settled into an apartment and going to college. Cameron trained to become certified as a Massage Therapist. She worked with a broad range of clients, including two young boys suffering from cerebral palsy. I took a job with a semiconductor plant assembling and testing microchips. It afforded me the ability to attend college as well.
In 2003, we purchased our first home in Palm Bay, Florida. At the time, Cameron had stopped her massage therapy work and was studying to become a nurse. She graduated nursing school in 2004, and became a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. I stopped working to become a full-time student.
There was a big housing boom in Palm Bay, so we seized the opportunity and sold our house in 2006. We had decided it was a good time to move on with some of our dreams as well. Cameron changed fields in nursing, and I completed my college education at Brevard Community College (AA in General Education & AS in Computer Information Technology). Cameron is now a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, and I am working towards becoming a Zoo Keeper. We also started our family and became parents on October 11th, 2007 with the arrival of our son Alexander Louis Teems. He's such an angel. And such a blessing!!
As of January 2008, I'm a keeper trainee in the Santa Fe Teaching Zoo Program in Gainesville, FL. Cameron is working at her second hospital as a L&D Registered Nurse. I'm scheduled to graduate in August 2009 and start my first zookeeping job shortly thereafter. WOO HOO!!
Play time!
Take a poke at this Pac-Man game and see if you can set the high score. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move Pac-Man around. But watch out for those ghosts!! They are fast, little devils!
Pac-Man isn't your thing? Try this classic game! This was one of my favorites as a kid.
